  • Anglers vying for trout during the rain were not disappointed. Trout were biting on yellow Hookup Bait and pink mini jigs. Siesta Cove and Siesta Point are popular locations for trout as well as casting off Eagle Point.

    1,500 lbs. of rainbow trout is scheduled to be stocked this week! Please note: trout were not stocked last week due to inclement weather at the hatchery. Up to date information is relayed through our Facebook and Instagram channels.

    Panfish

    Bluegill and Redear continue to bite on nightcrawlers and wax worms in Hermit Cove and along the campground shoreline.

    Lake Jennings is an 85 acre lake in Lakeside, 26 miles east of downtown San Diego. This deep clearwater reservoir is known for producing big largemouth bass and blue catfish. Jennings also stocks rainbow trout frequently in the winter months, with fresh fish being stocked about every 2 weeks.
