  • 2017 has started off strong for trout. We had a lot of anglers catch their limit and trophy sized trout are still being caught. Jay Ayon of Las Vegas caught an 8 lb trout out of lake 4 while fishing with powerbait.

This weekend is our trout reopener. Come out for a chance to catch trophy sized trout and win prizes!

    Lake Lowdown

    • Average water temperature: 57.1°F
    • Water clarity: Average 3′

The water temperature has gone up slightly this week. This doesn’t appear to have affected the trout bite negatively.

Most anglers have been sticking with either chartreuse or rainbow Powerbait. There haven’t been a lot of reports of anyone using much else.
