  • Another great week of fishing. We had reports of every species we have in the lakes being caught. Bill Milliron (right) caught this great mixed stringer of catfish and trout on Friday. He was fishing shrimp and mackerel in Lake 4. Andres Campos (left) caught this 5lbs bass out of Lake 6. He caught it on a bluegill crankbait.

    Lake Lowdown

    • Avg. Water Temp: 70.4°F
    • Water Clarity: 6 ft.

The catfish have been biting very well this week. Many anglers are reporting shrimp as the best bait to use. Mackerel has been a productive catfish bait as well.

The bass bite is still very good. The water clarity has improved allowing anglers to sight fish for big bass.
