Lake Wohlford Fish Report – 11/19/16

  • The trout opener is three weeks away. There are 6,000 lbs. of Nebraska Tailwalkers scheduled for Saturday Dec. 10th.

Catfish are biting throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.

Largemouth bass can be found around structure. Mike Hernandez of Valley Center caught and released a 6.80# bass throwing a swimbait on Senior Shoreline. With the re-introduction of trout to the menu this would be an excellent time to use swimbaits in hopes of landing a big bucket-mouth.
