The action has been all warm water species with the Channel Catfish,
Bass and Crappie providing the action. Bigger catfish taking various
offerings around the rock structures. Bass looking for top water and
plastics. Crappie can not resist a tube jigs drifted or below a bobber.
Trout very slow, some taking bait close to the bottom. We are now
taking reservations for the new RV group camp located in the Over flow
area. The area is set up for a total of 8 rigs but has a minimum of 4.
The rate is $200.00 a night for all 8 sites. Can be rented by singles
if not reserved. !!!! Also added 7 tent sites in the Lone Pine area !!!

Trout Bait: 30-36"inch leader off the bottom inflated night crawler smeared with scent, Rainbow Power Bait seems to be their favorite. (Pautzkes Krill gel or liquid Krill scent)
Best Trout Lures: Orange and Fire Tiger Rapalas, Yellow Roster Tails. Use scent (Krill gel works best)
Best Trout Spots: Lone Pine, Chambers Park, Trolling center of lake.

Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM: Ranger Willard will teach tried and true trout tactics, using Baits, Tube Jigs, and Lures along with Mini Jigs for Crappie, plus Night Crawlers for Bullheads.
Prognosis:!! Channel Cats should continue to be on the chew. Bullhead catfish looking for a worm on the bottom. With the Limit style action continuing on CRAPPIE, this small and tasty treat will create lasting memories for young and old alike.
