For Immediate Catch and Release
Hello from Your Lake Jennings: Don’t forget: we will be open every day thru Easter from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Just in time for the best fishing of the year. The trout bite continues to be localized at the Cactus Patch. Try the eucalyptus trees at Cactus Patch. Lots of bass are being caught but most are males. The big girls are hiding.
Best Trout Spots: Cactus Patch and the Cactus Patch.
Best Trout Lures / Bait: Chartruese Gulp and Power Bait on a 4’ leader.
Best Cat Spots: The floating boathouse and dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Bring mackerel or mackerel.
Best Bass Spots: On the bank and in 15 ft. of water off the points.
Best Bass Lures /bait: Dropshotting 4” worms. Ikas and Gitzits. Crawdads.
Water Temp. 61 to 62 degrees
Notables: No big bass brought in this week but a nice trout. Sun., Epitacio Leon, El Cajon,
6.25 rainbow, purple plastic worm, Cloister Cove.
Prognosis: Mt. Lassen will bring us another 1200 lbs of trout on Tuesday, March 18th. If you have never seen a trout plant be here about 10 AM. The sunshine forecasted for this week should keep the bass for moving into the shallows.
Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will talk about fishing trout. 1PM Sunday.

Lake opens at Sunday @ 6:30 AM closes for fishing at 7:30 PM
- And Open Monday thru Easter Sunday for the same hours.

We have created a twilight special for our motorboats. After 4:00 PM motorboats can be rented for $ 20.00. That gives you over 3 hours of primetime fishing.
