No changes in the trout department. Trolling continues to be good for
trout between the boat dock and the fishing float. The Cactus Patch
and over in Sentry Cove are producing trout from a boat using Power
Bait or Gulp. The bass are in transition. The majority of the bass
have moved back away from shore into 15 to 25 ft. of water. Swimbaits
have been effective on those fish. Dropshotting worms in the brush are
still nailing guardian males. The redears are spawning. Channel cats
are close to shore and under the trees.

The fishing was slow this week although big trout are still
being landed. There are a lot of fish in the Lake from the last stock but hotter
and windy weather has slowed the catch. The shoreline is open for fishing in the
curtain area. The water is starting to clear up. Best bait is Night Crawlers and
best lures are Rapalas. The catfish bite is good along the Log Boom. The bass
bite is improving with a lot of bass moving around along the shorelines. The
water is now at 69 degrees. The bluegill bite is still slow.
