Gale Bucciarelli of Del Mar caught a 6.40 pound largemouth bass at Hodges on a crankbait on May 25th. Inder Lopez caught and released a 5.90 pound largemouth from Lower Otay's Otay Arm on a brush hog. Richard Camp of Lakeside caught and released a blue catfish at San Vicente weighing 58.31 pounds on a crankbait.

Lake Barrett:  198 anglers checked. 3,730 largemouth bass, 144 bluegill, 1 smallmouth bass, and 7 crappie reported released. Water temp is 60 degrees.

El Capitan: 134 anglers checked. 215 bass, 73 bluegill, 47 crappie, 23 channel catfish, 10 blue catfishing, and 3 carp reported caught. Water temp is 74 degrees, launching conditions are listed as excellent.

Hodges: 175 anglers checked. 174 bass, 89 bluegill, 47 crappie, and 2 channel catfish reported caught. Water temp is 69 degrees, launching conditions are good.

Miramar: 42 anglers checked.  12 bass, 2 bluegill, 8 rainbow trout, and 9 channel catfish reported caught. Water temp is 62 degrees, the launch ramp is currently closed.

Murray: 59 anglers checked.  1 bass, 14 bluegill, 14 rainbow trout, and 3 channel catfish reportd caught. Water temp is 68 degrees. Launching conditions are good.

Lower Otay: 200 anglers checked. 159 bass, 988 bluegill, 24 rainbow trout, 6 channel catfish reported caught. Water temp is 70 degrees, and launching conditions are excellent.

Upper Otay: 14 anglers checked. 45 bass released. Water temp is 73 degrees.

San Vicente: 60 anglers checked. 140 bass, 8 redear sunfish, 21 crappie, 4 channel catfish and 1 blue catfish reported caught. Launching conditions are good. Water temp is 72 degrees.

Sutherland: 47 anglers checked. 117 bass, 4 bluegill, 2 redear sunfish, and 2 channel catfish reported caught. Launching conditions are good, no water temp reported.
