Several trout over 7 pounds were reported caught this week at Santee Lakes.
FISH REPORT
WEEK OF: 2/4/2008
BASS:
TROUT:
Jonathan Ironfield of Santee caught an 8 lb trout out of lake four off of night crawlers.
A 7lb 2oz trout was caught out of lake four using power chartrouse by Alan Baretta of Santee.
Brian Lazarescu of San Diego caught an 8lb trout using green/orange power bait on the east side of lake 3.

Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
