WEEK OF: March
10, 2008
TROUT:
Trout season is coming to an
end. The last stock of Rainbows arrived
last week and was split between lakes 3 and 4. Don’t forget about the Lightning
Trout. Come catch yours before they’re all gone.
CATFISH:
- Wyatt
Hegeler age 13 and his brother Barton age 8 caught 3 Catfish out of lake 4 on
shrimp and magic stink bait. The largest weighed in at 3 lbs. Check out the

- Fred
Franklin caught a nice Catfish out of lake 4 on mealworms.
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes
6&7)
** No California
State Fishing License required to
fish at Santee Lakes
Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
- Adult
(ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
- Junior
(ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
- Second
fishing pole stamp $3.00
- *One
child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
