Warmer days and our shallow lakes water temp is on the rise. It feels
like Bass season!!!
FISH REPORT
WEEK OF: March 3, 2008
BASS:
Norm Breen of San Diego reeled in a 5 ¾ lb. Bass out of lake 5 on a
purple robo worm and 4 lb. test. Norm stated “what a fight on 4 lb.
test and ultra light spinning gear”.
Lalea Cahananni age 4 a nice Bass out of lake 5 while fishing with her
dad.
SHINERS NOT PERMITTED
TROUT:
Robert Bosco of El Cajon caught an 11 lb. Trout out of lake 3 on
yellow corn powerbait.
Ray Petersen of El Cajon landed a nice 10 lb. 3 oz. Rainbow out of lake
4 on a zara puppy.
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Santee Lakes
Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
