BASS:
- David Holley of Santee caught a 6 lb. 1 oz. bass out of lake 3 on a plastic worm.
- Justin Holley age 13 of Santee caught a 3 lb. 8 oz. bass out of lake 5 on a plastic worm.
CATFISH:
- Ben Dayton age 13 of Santee caught a 1 lb. 1oz. Catfish out of lake 4 on powerbait.
- Wanda Hoskins of San Diego caught 4 Catfish out of lake 4 on cheese bait.
- Kalvin Payne age 14 of San Diego caught a 1 lb. 15 oz. Catfish out of lake 4 on a nightcrawler.
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
- Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
- Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
- Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
- *One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
