BASS:
- Troy Walsberg of Santee landed a nice 6 lb. Bass out of lake 5 on a plastic worm.
- Reminder ALL BASS are catch and release and shiners are NOT permitted.
CATFISH:
- Limits are being taken out of stocked lakes 3 and 4.
Nightfishing
on lakes 1 through 4 will be held on the following dates: May 8, 22,
June 5, July 17, 31, Aug. 14, 28, Sept. 11, 25.
- 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm
- $6 adults+$2 nightfishing stamp
- $3 juniors+$2 nightfishing stamp
- Lantern required/No radios
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
- Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
- Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
- Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
- *One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
