BASS:

• Tyler Lamb age 10 from Santee caught a 2 ½ Bass out of lake 4 on wax worms. Tyler also caught a 1 ¾ lb. Catfish out of lake 4 on nightcrawlers.

CATFISH:

• Raymond Paul caught 2 Catfish at last Thursday’s nightfishing event. The largest weighed 4 lbs. and both were taken on mackerel out of lake 4.
• Conner Troxel age 10 from Santee caught a 12 lb. Catfish and a 3 lb. Catfish out of lake 4 on stinkbait. Conner also landed a ½ lb. bluegill.
• Nick Omahen age 14 from San Diego caught a huge Catfish out of lake 3 estimated at 15 lbs.
• Ricky Gonzales age 12 caught a 6 lb. 3 oz. Catfish out of lake 3 on a nightcrawler.
• Greg & Blair Parker caught a couple of 2 lb. Catfish out of lake 3 on mackerel and nightcrawlers.
• Sarah Heath landed 2 Catfish out of lake 3 on mackerel. The largest weighed in at 3 lbs.
• Patrick Vannavong of San Diego caught 4 Catfish out of lake 3 on mackerel.
• Bryan Apostol of San Diego caught 4 Catfish out of lake 3 on mackerel.

Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7) ** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Padre Dam’s Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.

Fishing Permit Fees

• Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
• Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
• Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
• *One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
