Mike Long crushes ABA Hodges field |

Mike Long, fishing solo outdistanced a field of 20 teams in the March 22nd American Bass Association tournament at Hodges. Mike's 19.55 pound bag included the tournament's biggest bass at 7.8 pounds.
In second place was Bob Palashewski and Roger Gordon with 13.2 pounds
and the second biggest fish of the tournament at 5.65 pounds. Rusty and
Rocky Brown were third with 10.3 pounds. Cameron Smith and Brett
Woodword finished fourth with 9.75 pounds and the third big bass of the
contest at 5.6 pounds. Rounding out the top 5 was Gene Collins and Bill
Ellerson with 9 pounds.
Not a single team, including Long managed to catch a limit. There was no variance to the size limit present for this tournament, so teams could only keep fish larger than 15 inches.
