Swartwood and Marler win third stop of SD Night Series |

The San Diego Night Series held our third event of the
season at El Capitan Reservoir on Saturday
June 21st, 2008. All 48 boats enjoyed a great night of
fishing under a warm full-moon condition. Ray Marler and Bobby Swartwood
claimed first place and the big bass of the tournament, which weighed a
whopping 10.45 pounds to give them a total weight of 14.04 pounds. Ray and
Bobby took home $3,700 for their efforts.
In second place was Nick Hager and Kevin Permetti with 10.88
pounds, earning $1,800 for their strong effort. Third place went to Dave Chalk
and Mike Walsh with 10.25 pounds and a nice $1,000 paycheck.
The next event of the series will take place at Lower
Otay on July 12th,
2007. I would like to thank the staff of Woody Olson, David
Seaberg, and Regina Seaberg for their effort in making this the best run
tournament circuit in Southern California. Additionally,
I would like to thank the Taco Angel for providing the food, El Cajon Ford and
Anglers Marine for their support and sponsorship of this series.
