John Kerr and Mike Long prove it year, after year, after year. They are
a tough team to beat come springtime on Lake Otay. The team awaken from
their long winter slumber, and anchored by the largest bass of the
tournament, a 6.59 ponder, bested the 39 team field of WON fishermen
with 15.37 pounds total weight. John and Mike also picked up a cool
$3,895 for the effort.

Jonathan
Wdowiak and Rich Serra stoked the field of 46 boats with a five bass
limit, anchored by a 5.24lb kicker, that weighed in at 24.45. The team
caught their fish drop-shot fishing and using the Bubba rig in Toll
Road Arm and earned $3,580.

John Fiehler and Rod Blunt won a team tournament at El Capitan for the second consecutive week. After catching nearly 19 pounds of fish at last week's National Bass West tournament, John and Rod weren't nearly as successful vs. the fish, but just as successful against the rest of the field. Despite not being able to get a limit, their four fish, 10.97 pound bag was enough to beat the WON Bass competition.

Brian Johnson grabbed his second team tournament victory in as many weeks, this time partnered with brother Aaron. Brian also won last week's National Bass West tournament at San Vicente with a similar weight.
