John Fiehler and Rod Blunt won a team tournament at El Capitan for the second consecutive week. After catching nearly 19 pounds of fish at last week's National Bass West tournament, John and Rod weren't nearly as successful vs. the fish, but just as successful against the rest of the field. Despite not being able to get a limit, their four fish, 10.97 pound bag was enough to beat the WON Bass competition.

John and Rod also had the biggest bass of the contest for the second week in a row, this time it was a 4.9 pounder that topped the scales. In second place was Stu Kenson and Steve Swaggerty with 10.08, who also had a 4.9 pound kicker. Paul Leader and Rich Welch were third with 9.89 pounds, and right behind them in fourth was Roger Gordon and Bob Palashewski with 9.87 pounds. Brian Hess and Adam East rounded out the top 5 with 8.71 pounds with four fish.

Full results will be posted at www.wonbass.com.

The next WON Bass tournament is scheduled for March 8th at San Vicente, where anglers should be greeted with rewarding fishing.
