Supervising Ranger, Beryl Buchanan of Lake Morena reports that trout fishing at the lake is great right now. Fish were stocked througout the winter, with very few of them caught. They have continued to stock the lake, and the fish have begun to really feed well. There is a lot of feeding trout in the lake right now, which means great fishing for anglers making the trip to Morena. Fish up to 10 pounds are still being caught, and many Lightning Trout in the 2 1/2 - 3 lb range remain as well.
