San Diego's lakes are not always full of water, but always rich in history. Historically known for the world's largest largemouth bass, and world class size blue catfish, our lakes are known around the world. Lake Cuyamaca, nestled up in the local mountains is home to the second oldest dam in California, completed way back in 1888. Every lake has a storied history, and have created fond fishing memories for generations of local anglers.
