Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be good all over the lake.
WE ARE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6:00 AM.
CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 7:45 PM
Best Trout Bait: Power Bait, Nightcrawlers, Jigs
Best Spots: chambers Park, Lone Pine, Dike and the Jetty
Notables:
- Tyler Tremble of San Diego caught 1 Trout weighing 5 pounds and 23 crappie on a Blue Micro Jig.
- Troy Schmidt of Riverside caught one Trout weighing in at 3.5 pounds on a night crawler at the Fox Hole.
- Nathaniel Magoon Diaz of San Diego caught 5 Trout, the largest weighing 1 1/2 pounds on a night crawler and Chartreuse Power Bait at Lone Pine.
- Juliann Johnson of Spring Valley caught 3 trout, the largest 18 1/2" weighing 3 pounds on Power Bait at the West Finger Jetty.
