 TROUT:
Opening Day scheduled for Saturday, November 7th. Mt. Lassen Trout Farm will stock the lakes with 2,000 lbs. of Sierra Trout including LARGE trophy Trout and tagged Trout worth CASH and Prizes!! The Lion’s Club will be preparing breakfast burritos on opening day at south lake 4. Last years largest Trout weighed in at 16 lbs. 8 oz. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you November 7th.
CATFISH:
Mario Gonzalez from San Diego landed a 7 lb. 11 oz. Catfish out of lake 5 on mackerel.
BASS:
Adam Doyle age 13 from Santee caught a nice Bass out of lake 3.
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)
No California State Fishing License required to fish at Padre Dam’s Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.
Fishing Permit Fees
- Adult (ages 16 and over) $8.00 per day
- Junior (ages 7 to 15) $5.00 per day
- Second fishing pole stamp $3.00
- *One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
