Smith and Woodward win Otay NBW tournament |

Cameron Smith and Brett Woodward beat a 38 team field on Saturday January 31st at Lower Otay for their second overall team tournament win of the 2008/2009 season. They also won a WON Bass tournament in December at El Capitan. Cameron and Brett had 15.62 pounds for a five fish limit anchored by a big fish of 3.87 pounds. Despite not having one of the tournament's three biggest bass, the duo still walked away with $2,875 for their efforts on the day. They reported catching their fish on plastics on the flats in Harvey Arm.
In second place was Mike McLernon and Jeff Wilkey with a five fish limit weighing 14.01 pounds. Rounding out the top three was Greg Miser and Justin Iacino with 13.79 pounds. Greg and Justin also lead the Angler of the Year race at the half-way point of the season. They also reported catching their fish in Harvey on the flats.
