Our hours have changed. In January the Lake has waterfowl hunting every
Wednesday, all day, and on Sunday morning. That means we are closed all
day on Wednesdays and do not open for fishing on Sundays until 10:00
am. The tackle shop opens at 8 am on weekdays and at 6:00am on
Saturdays. We have had wonderful weather all this week. The trout are
biting all over the lake.

The fishing has been very good this week. Trolling is still the best
way to go. Bass fishing is really good right now. They are fattening
up for winter. Come give it a try. This won't last long. This is
also the time the big catfish are biting. The days are warming up
alittle but the nights are down in the 30s and 40s. Perfect Autumn
weather to watch the wildlife (deer, turkeys, etc.) and catch a few fish.
