Night crawler night crawler where to find the night crawlers? If you’re a
trout fisherman this is the question you should be asking because if
you don’t have a night crawler on a hook chances are your missing out on
the good times. Anglers are catching limits within an hour to an hour
in a half on night crawlers whether they have an air injection or not.

As active hunters, trout seem to be staying ahead of all the anglers but
some anglers are finding them and the ones they find are descent. The
rains have made the water brown and the trout are gobbling up night
crawlers before anything according to the angler reports. Anglers have
had a rod with power bait and night crawlers and the night crawlers are
winning the battle with 5 trout to the power baits zero trout. Jerry
Garcia of El Cajon has big trout of week at 9lbs. 10oz. and Dan Deems of
Descanso with a 5lb trout.

Congratulations to Tim Cobb & Don Erb for catching the biggest fish
last week-a 6lb 4oz Rainbow Trout. With the storms last week we had to
close the lake to fishing for two days, and there were a low number of
fishermen. Due to the rain, all creeks are now flowing and the lake
level is rising, the trout are moving into the coves and fresher water.
Therefore, the fishing should increase next week.

The storm came and the storm left and with that left the bite on a dead
spot. Some trout showed up here and there but not in the numbers we
have seen. A lot of people were catching them but no limits were found
and the size was on the small end of the scale. Big fish and
congratulations goes to Jim Hill of Lake Morena for catching a 3lb 4oz
trout.
