bbz1jr.JPGSPRO BBZ-1 6" Trout - SPRO’s designers worked closely with Fishing Hall of Fame Inductee, Bill Siemantel, to design a more compact version of the hugely successful 8-inch model. They say that size maters and sometimes that size needs to be smaller.  Largemouth, snook, reds and other gamefish will attack the 6-inch SPRO BBZ1! You can work it with a steady straight retrieve or pause and jerk it for awesome S-turns and other realistic underwater aerobics. It may be smaller but the SPRO BBZ1 6 inch can stand up to the largest gamefish.

Each SPRO 6-inch BBZ1 comes equipped with Gamakatsu 2X Strong Treble Hooks and Spro Power Split Rings. These 6 inch BBZ1 come in floating, slow and fast sink models.

bbz1shad.JPGSPRO BBZ-1 4" Shad - Inspired by the original 8 inch BBZ1, the new BBZ-1 4inch Shad is one of the most realistic shad swim baits to ever hit the water. After 2 years of research and development Bill Siemantel along with SPRO's Design Team have designed a cutting edge Shad Swim bait system that covers the entire water column from top to bottom! Whether you are a tournament Pro "Casting for Cash", or a Striper fisherman fishing inland or of shore, this lure just plain catches fish!

This 4 inch BBZ1 Shad has 4 body sections and is available in 3 different buoyancies-Floating, Slow Sink (sinks 1 foot every 4 seconds), Fast Sink (sinks 1 foot per second).  Pros and novice anglers alike will both be able to pick up one of these BBZ-1 4" Shad Baits and start loading the boat. Why a 4" shad bait? Because it’s one of the most common baitfish in the world that game fish eat! Bass, Muskie, Tarpon, Redfish, Stripers, Snook, Salmon, just to name a few.

This is one of the best-built and realistic lures every to hit the market! Looks, actions, durability, versatility and a price point that everyone can afford. SPRO and Bill Siemantel’s BBZ1 Shad have hit another home for anglers everywhere!

Package MSRP: $115.65 (CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO OR TO PURCHASE)

Treasure Hunt Details

Due to the size of this bait, a card will be placed at a hidden location within San Diego County on March 28th, 2010 immediately following the last and final clue to its location. The first lucky SDFish.com member or reader to find the card can redeem it with me in exchange for the SPRO BBZ-1 Swimbait Package. Details on how to contact me to redeem your prize will be on the card.

The card will not be hidden until the last day of the hunt, so there will be no benefit to guessing its location or searching for it prior to the last clue being published. If you have kept track of all the clues, the last clue should be a relative "slam dunk" to the item's exact location.

Please DO NOT contact me, or any of the site's moderators (they will not know anyways) asking questions about where the item will be hidden, I will not respond to such questions. No additional hints will be given other than the ones published on the Treasure Hunt page of SDFish.com.

Clues will be published at random intervals leading up to the final day of the treasure hunt, with the last one being published on March 28th, 2010. Unlike the last two months, this month each clue will remain published throughout the month. You are welcome to discuss the clues on our message boards with other members.

Good luck, and happy hunting!
