Pepper Park Pier Fishing
The Pepper Park Pier is a small wooden fishing pier on San Diego Bay in National City, south of downtown San Diego. The pier sits inside the inlet to the Sweetwater River Channel, atop a sandy bottom.
Like Chula Vista Bayside Park Pier to the south, Pepper Park Pier will produce mostly small sand-dwelling fish like croaker, halibut, rays, smoothhound sharks, shovelnose guitarfish, smelt, leopard sharks and of course spotted bay bass.
The park is open daily from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. There is free parking, restrooms, and picnic tables, but no concession services or tackle available.
Pepper Park is located at 3299 Tidelands Ave., National City, CA.
