After a down week, it appears the bite rebounded for bass over the weekend with the 69 anglers checked at Sutherland reporting 150 bass to 4.25 pounds, 8 crappie, and 4 carp caught. Bass are shallow, and moving up even more as the water temperature climbs.

Sutherland is open on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule. There are no concession services at the lake. The water temperature is listed at 60 degrees and the water level is at 67.40 feet. The launch ramp is still closed with the lake's water level sitting a couple feet below where it needs to be to allow launching.
