Went down to the south end of MB this morning to fish off the rocks. I've watched some bonito chasing bait a little for the last three mornings...
They popped up once this morning but they didn't stay up. It happened about 50 yds down the shoreline from me and I couldn't get there fast enough...
when u see baitfish breaking the surface they are normally getting pushed from below
The last couple days I've seen bait pushed around by some fish down in the jetty area......looked like bonito but wasn't sure. Confirmed this...
It was really tasty. Made a couple pouches out of aluminum foil....put in the fillets with a little lemon juice and a pat of butter in each pouch....
