Well ill be darned I have successfully patterned the fish. I have to fish on a Friday after work in order to get bit.
Just kidding I got off work...
It was just the right place at the right time. Went back the following day and almost got skunked.
Did i see you out there? How did you know? Haha
Usually im commando. I haven't messed around with a skirtless jig.
Ended up going back the following day for 1 bed fish around 2 pounds. The morning bite was supposedly good, i did not get on the water til 8.
Hopefully i get the big ones tomorrow.
All my fish were caught on a 1/2 oz keitech football jig with a zoom twin tail grub. I caught some fish just reeling the jig on the bottom.
Thanks. Thats good to know that means i can go fish out there again tomorrow with less boat traffic hopefully.
Got off work around 1 and decided to hit the bank for a bit. Ended up with multiple very nice fish, it was unfortunate my scale batteries were...
Thanks a ton for the info that clears up alot.
Unfortunately i plan on fishing my homemade jigs out there. So buying barbless hooks doesnt solve my problem, but thanks for the info.

Glad you got on them. I always carry 5 jigs of the same color and head design. Gotta fish them where they hang up to get bit.
I got my big fish fix for the week. Now i can happily go back to work.
I did bounce around as many rockpiles that i could but i only found one willing to bite. The pattern for me was in about 5-10 foot of water
Woke up at 6 and couldn't make up my mind about where to go. So i decided to go back to fisheromans lake. Got there around 730 after getting some...
Thanks it was a fun day on the water. I can not get over the jig bite espically when they thump it and your line starts swimming away.
Decided to head to an undisclosed lake where I had some success. Boy was the water cold, thank god for the invention of wool socks. All fish were...
I was catching them right off the bank.
