Well....another tough warm day in the 80's at Lake Murray. The surface looked like an oil painting with no top action really anywhere. Sometimes a random dink hit the surface and heading back down quickly and always too far out of reach. So this morning I just wormed it with creature baits, senkos and robo worms in deeper water. I missed 2 bites(I just hate that) and had a dink come off one the first jump(it was small so not really upsetting). Anyway after lots of work, I ended up with only 4 in the boat. Two dinks and two bass that were a little nicer(of course anything looks nice compared to a dink...ha ha). I must confess that I work my worms way too fast as I get a little impatient when using them especially in deeper water. Sometimes I catch my nicer bass a hour before I leave(probably tired and work them slower). I think if you work your worms slowly...you would have better odds and most likely catch more bass. Black and Pumpkin colored worms were the choice today and not so much a tap on the M.M worms.
Anyway...thanks for reading another boring morning session report from Murray by yours truly :)

I keep a branding iron on hot coals in my boat to make sure you can identify MY fish! I've yet to figure out how to identify yours! That was a frightening photo of your squad last week...pretending to be musicians! I wouldn't want to cross them! Former FBI, CIA, or just basic mobsters??

Let’s just say that I’m not gonna tell the guys what you thought of them because I value our friendship and know you were kidding. I would love to see you at Lake Murray one day soon and if you could, please let me know ahead of time when you’re going to be there.
I’m pretty sure my friends would like to meet you. :)

Went out to Murray with a couple friends today. One guy caught 1 and lost 1. The other lost 2. I didn’t get one nibble. I think it may be time for me to sell all my freshwater gear and go back to the salt haha

It's really tough fishing right now at Murray. Heck...I often wonder why I don't just take my kayak down to the bay and fish. I know the numbers seem to be awesome...but stubborn me just likes a challenge. When I retire I will no doubt just fish for bluegill...ha ha. :).
    Tight lines always
