10/19 San V

    Fished early in the morning till about noon. There was a slight breeze in the morning, however wind picked up at noon.

    5 bass, 2 were in the 2 pound range and the other 3 probably added up to a few ounces lol.. the little bass are super aggressive right now

    it was a hot day and this may have effected the bite

    I only caught fish throwing shad imitation type baits into schools that were blowing up on the surface

    Congrats. You did better than a friend of mine did there on Friday, and he’s a heck of a stick! :)

    I miss San V and El Cap, and for that matter Otay. Between lobster trapping and deep-sea, I’ve not been on freshwater in over two weeks. Going through withdrawals.

    Definitely a tough bite in the last few weeks. The top water action is picking up. Also, I follow you on Instagram, thanks for all the pictures and reports!!

    You did great!! My son and I sat in acres of 2 to 3 lb bass blowing up the water ! And couldn’t even get a tap. Double skunk

    Now that's what I'm talking about right there! I just ordered more for a trip to Vee this Thursday, unfortunately, we're going to postpone our outing for a bit.

    Might think about it... Great tool for moving school fish... There are some mustad three hook variants, cheap, available and easy to use for sure
