Been there, done that, bought the T shirt. 31+ years ago
Must not have read the part on the application where it says it’s a prerequisite to smoke 2 packs a day in order to be a deckhand. Might wanna go back and reread that section.
Reds and Menthols only?
Cheap tar shyt only, knockoff brands will maximize your chances of getting the job.
I don't want to make this a competition, but I am 64 years old and have never tasted beer.
You know what. That’s on you buddy.
If you really want to trip out on something, Alex Jones on Joe Rogan's podcast yesterday. Damn. The billionaires who run the world have meetings with aliens via DMT and other psychedelics, 5G cell towers are programming our brains, and of course human/animal babies being created....
Joe Rogan Experience #1255 - Alex Jones Returns!
Edit: These aren't my own words or thoughts, these are Jones' topics.
I remember when testing for weed became a thing. The first thing I pointed out was all the drinking. OK to drink before work, we went out regularly at lunch for drinks, and so many drank in the evenings to excess. Then you take a responsible adult who wants to share a joint on Saturday night with the Little Mrs while watching a movie and he loses his job while the drunks carry on. But it is what it is. I've never been a big pot smoker. Main reason is I was already born in slow motion, if I get any slower in life I'll be in a coma. Kept me away from most drugs. Downers were way out of the question. I would call myself a light drinker. 3 beers or even less often a couple drinks maybe once every couple weeks. I have on occasion drank more but mostly in my younger days, Now it's more likely just to make me sick. I am also not a big fan of drunk people. They are loud, sloppy, and often violent. Weed smokers are just mellow. I smoked weed when I was younger - never went to school stoned not even once but I quit by 11th grade and it was many years before I went there again. Nowadays I'll smoke a bowl to help me sleep every so often. I can't think of many negatives associated with weed. It doesn't effect everyone like it does me just making me sleepy. My husband would smoke weed to get up and do things. He would mow the lawn, fix things, what ever hubbys do while I sat and stared at the wall. I hear CBD would help with my quickly fading arms. I plan to try it when I can budget for it. If it works I'll become it's biggest advocate. It's to the point already that I can barely cast.
LOL! I can relate!
And yet you still enjoy life and are able to have a good time. Well done sir.
THC and CBDs are great but CBNs are the next best thing. Not much has been done with this as it requires high price, high thc product to be degraded by Oxygen and UV light. It is a strong sedative. Cheaper mexican brick weed is usually higher in CBN because they sun dry it.
Remember it's only shwag because of the way they grow and lack of proper drying and curing.
Now that it's legal and dispensaries have a variety of products, you may want to consider asking for a "sativa" strain. Gives you a bit more get up and go rather then mellowing out. So I'm told...
Just learned this recently, and since there was talk about federal jobs and what you choose to consume, apparently how you invest your money in stocks can be a red flag for the more secure federal jobs.
Scientists have created yeast that make only cbd and an other yeast that produces thc only. That is the future of actual medical uses. Smoking and Vaping are recreational imo. Yes for some people they do help mask certain problems that they may have.
Couple things I'd like to say to Roncador. When I stopped Vaping concentrates it actually took me almost two months to not have detectable thc. Mostly because of my extra weight.
Also Thc is supposed to be better for migraines.
After using mj for 12 years straight I stopped and feel great now still. I still hang out with my friends that smoke and we still have a great time. This stuff below is great for my wrist pains and I don't have to worry about testing positive at work.
Get your own sport boat? Make your own rules?
Coast Guard makes the rules.
No way Larry M , I can’t believe you haven’t looked like the “Gorton’s Fisherman “ your whole life....Boo, don’t destroy my image of you.....LOL
Whether its a job you really like or the love of your life sometimes you need to have it slap you around and make you answer the question as to which is most important. Commercial drivers license, NCCO crane operator, 100 ton captains license, or the sweetest girl you ever met will often change your focus and knock that beer/bud out of your hand at 10:00 PM because you have a commitment that takes your further than a buzz ever will.
One more thing Roncador, any old guy saying you will look back ten years to see how stupid you were is speaking from experience. I cant believe how stupid I was and how far I still have to go. Read some of the Navy seal books that are out right now and see how mentally tough your mind can be when you really get driven enough. I don't disagree with anything you said regarding the weed being better than alcohol, I have no idea, but neither should stop anyone from taking work for granted, especially if you have a job you enjoy.
Oh guess you haven’t heard, Kellen has been MIA while exploring Mars for the past year or so. He’ll be back in a few years once he’s done with his mission.
