Folks...FYI to save you some trouble, I’ve called around to see the cost of an Annual Mexican Fishing License. I bought mine at Squidco today. I was just curious if Squidco is still a good deal. As I suspected, Squidco wins.......

    Squidco - $57
    H&M Landing - $60
    Fisherman’s- $64
    Seaforth - $65

FYI - Turners does not carry Mexican Fishing licenses. I suspect the Mexican Consulate or other Government Office will not charge a surcharge. Online may be cheaper if you trust the security of their servers with your info and have the time to wait for it to arrive in the mail.... FYI - the Landings pay $46.40....

Passport for offshore now too? Going to be some lighter rides for a while I reckon.

I get mine every year straight from Conapesca to avoid "Convenience Charges" at the landings.

Conapesca is off Laurel St. as you head up towards Balboa Park from I5 (2389 5th Ave San Diego, CA 92103) it is on the corner of 5th and Kalmia. I posted a picture of the building entrance on their Yelp page a few years ago as it is not very visable from the street. $46/year cash or charge.
Going to have to make my yearly visit next month...

CAN you get the daily boat visas from this place? I've always just done it online a day or two before we go offshore, but it would be way easier if we can walk in and get it approved instantly.

I’ve gotten mine there in years past. I’m glad they sell them there still. It’s a bit of a pain in the arse for me. I bought two this year so I woulda saved $20 bones......

Yes, last year when I was getting my yearly, there was a guy in front of me getting boat permits. I'd give them a call though to confirm.
