fished the salt today, threw fishtraps and irons in the kelp for nada, also tried for some bottom feeders from 40 feet through 200 feet depths with cut bait and traps for nada as well-from the mission bay inlet down to the tank on point loma. Not a huge salt guy , but who i was with has fished these same spots for close to 50 years, and he said he has never blanked before today. Any suggestions (was it just this cold front that killed it for us, even though it was beautifull the whole time we were out)?
