C96514B4-D798-4E04-A2A0-AEF3136B80D9.jpeg Got out again with the wife and kids. J street had a 5K going, about 15 cars parked illegally in trailer only spots! Anyway got in around 9, just exiting the marina and saw some agitated bait on top. Thought to myself this should be corvina and sure enough saw one go airborne. Swung the raft around and third cast with my new rod and a small Yozuri crank that has never touched the water I was on. Now I see why guys chase these things! Nice first fish on the new rod and lure. Wife got her in the net and I remembered everyone saying these fish don’t release well, so in the cooler it went. 24” on the nose. Went on to get everyone some small spotties before heading in when the wind got unbearable.

Looking for tips from the GoPro crowd. Got one from the mother-in-law a few years back, just attached a pole mount to the raft. My battery dies after 30 min or so of video. How do guys get a days worth of footage without going thru 20 batteries?

Nice fish! And all you need to do is pop off the side plate and hook it up to an external battery and it should last all day

Thanks. I will look for a longer cord. Wish I had it on when I got this fish, but of course I wasn’t expecting much to happen before we had even cleared the breakwall!
