I have been kind of lazy lately or maybe I just don't want to bore you guys with a bunch of Murray reports. Instead of giving you the same old "did this and later did that", I decided to just post some random pics from recent trips and a little fishing report summary from those trips. The bass from these trips are not big, but still always fun to catch bass no matter what the size(and I caught some mini-dinks too). There are a lot of bass in shallow water. Plastic worms visa Texas rigged or drop shot. There also have been a number of bass chasing shad there and in open areas of the lake and so reaction baits are what I have had the most fun on recently. Not yet in full topwater swing....but some random busting bass can make it exciting if you are in casting distance. Tight lines. :)
Just a few random pics from some recent trips...

...and a few mini dinks just for mcfish to focus on for his next trip to Murray.....ha ha

You’ve got plenty of bigger fish than that using a quarter of a Robo worm. You do not hit Murray much so by next time you hit Murray, those bass will be at least 5 pounds each.........:)

Yeah it was great to see you Brett and your friend last week at Murray. When the weather warms up even more the top water bite should be lot of fun. I know you’ll be down here throwing your favorite frog and pulling in the bass. Tight lines always.

Obtained this map from a buddy...Whoops..I mean member of the staff at Lake Murray(who did not want to be identified) documenting patterns the last time mcfish fished the lake. This was made possible with the help of a tracker secretly placed in the live well of mcfish's boat. After he avoided the skunk in Padre Bay, the tracker was shut off and waiting for his next visit(already been about 3 years) to be turned on again.

Don't hate the players...just hate the game. The guys are great and just doing their job. They just did not recognize you since you have not been fishing there much...ha ha
