Probably my last trip to Barrett for the year as its kind of a far trip from LA. Lake was pretty empty, no sure if it was due to Mothers Day weekend or just busted numbers expectations LOL! Nice meeting/talking to MaxZmus, BRuck and Toolbox out there. Final count: 25 bass, lost 4 others. Caught on: blade (20), crankbait (1), small soft plastics (4). Nailed two 4 lbers, several 3 lbers, and rest were mostly a mixed bag of the current "average" size barrett bass.

Never broke a spinnerbait, let alone 2 in one trip. The green muck is everywhere, every 3rd cast I was cleaning. IMG_0958.jpg

That’s awesome! I figured you’d be right around those numbers if I got 12 by noon. Outstanding job on the blade.

I was thinking Revenge or the new Dobyns series.

I’ve been wondering about those new dobyns blades. Anyone heard anything about them and how people like them?

Nice meeting you out there too Bui! That moss on the blade was frustrating, I should of kept at it too. 25 fish beat our best by 10. Bummed we couldn't get that evening bite going. Still a great day!

Saw your post, glad see ya'll get into some more throughout the day, I always cherish fishing trips with my Dad! Its a pontoon boat/kickboat. The Classic Accessories Roanoke is my 4th kickboat over 20+ years and the one you saw me in. Its cheap but well worth the money (low $200's on amazon). Buck Bags Southfork was the finest one I've owned but it cost 4x more, but its something like class 3 rapids capable with stainless steel frame, and I once took it out to zuniga jetty from shelter island (trolling motor mounted).
