Calico bite has been pretty hot on the new seaforth so decided to go out and try my luck. Decent day out on the water. Fairly light with only 22 anglers. Caught my very first calico and it was a legal. Got a couple shorts also. As well as a couple whitefish, one was as big as the calico. Hooked up on 2 cuda. Lost one after a couple cranks, and lost the other right at the boat. Oh well, guess its time to upgrade the hooks.
Oh yea and the captain hooked up 2 yellowtail, was only able to land 1. Looks like the pm landed 2.

Talent will get you a yellowtail in LJ. Not an easy fish to catch right now. Nice Tail

Nice report, I love the pick of the captain, they always have them lures that look 20 years old but they still catch tons of fish on them.

Nice. I much prefer when the surface fishing gets going on the halfdays opposed to the bottom fishing.

When in doubt , use the one with the teeth marks . Good example of it's how the lure swims , not the color . Tight lines . WR

Cuda always cut the line with their razor sharp teeth.
