Very quick a.m. Murray session due to weather. It was upsetting to see it was going to rain on my day off. So I woke up, put on rain gear and threw stuff in my kayak and headed to Murray. Was in such a hurry that I forgot my lunch, drinks and tackle I should have brought... etc. Greeted by February type weather, I worked some reaction baits and then gave up and threw a Texas rigged black worm and caught a bass while getting soaked by the rain. It was hard to stay in one spot with the wind blowing. Then off to another point and caught another bass on a creature bait. By the time I got the hook out, the wind took me almost a football field away from where I caught it. My feet and hands were cold and wet so I tossed a spoon to try to warm up. Surprised when a bass slammed it and even with no slack in the line, on the second jump the bass(looked in the 3lb range) shook the spoon. I hate when that happens! Decided to call it quits after throwing the spoon for a while more. I tossed a MM on a drop shot and caught a mini dink in 15' of water and headed to the dock. The highlight of the day was getting into my truck and out of the cold wind. One funny thing that made me laugh was a guy(Tito, I believe his name was) who I met when I was going to get my truck. He asked about the fishing and I shared where I caught the 3 bass and he suddenly said, "hey man, you look like this dude on SDFish." I replied, "Yep, I guess it's me."
    Just gotta laugh! :)

Bass were very small as seem by these pics:

Sorry but the mini bass was really not photo worthy(actually either were the two above...ha ha)

When I pulled my hoodie on my rain jacket back and he saw the Ranger boats hat, I was “the dude” he saw on SDFIsh that fishes Lake Murray. :)

    Ha ha ......not famous anywhere!
The comment made (“ hey man, you look like this dude on SDFIsh”)I shared was really just for laughs. It was funny to me. I was going to say that I was mcfish or fisheromen, but those guys don’t fish Lake Murray... :)
