First cast, first fish, pb corvina.
Guesstimating by the width of my board in that area he’s probably 28”-29” give or take a couple.
How much would a fish of this length weigh??
    It was a good morning.

First cast, first fish, PB. Probably should’ve just paddled in and went home to mow the lawn after that one.

Get one 9f those Berkley digital scales. They're pretty cheap.

Congrats, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. I've put in close to 100 hours the last couple months trying to get a good one like that on topwater and still haven't got any over 3lbs this year. Had to be an act of god to catch that fish the way you did. Straight up...

The digital scales are nice for a while but they seem to be all cheaply made and fail after a few years. If anyone has a recommendation, please let us know.

Personal question I suppose, but are you still with the same wife or do you get a new one every year? Or that's different, too expensive to get a new one every year?

What does a wife have to do with a fishing scale? If you must know I’ve been with the same girl since 1963 and she still works like she did when I met her

I have a fishing scale I bought 30 years ago but it doesn't have a digital readout. I also have only had one wife and for >30 years, wish I could find a digital scale as good. Seems like a digital scale is much simpler than a wife though. If you find a digital scale as good as our wives, let me know.
