    Nice haul!
I’m going out tomorrow on a friends boat. We’ll be looking for patties too.

Three of us headed way west of the islands in search of patties that were few and far between. 4 patties yielded 3 YT, I got 2, one farmed at the boat. By 1030 we made our way back to the Islands and caught a few keeper calicos and a handful of shorts. Stopped by a few really nice sized empty patties.

    Good job.

we were farther south. Like I said between the 425 and 371. Not sure if that was still good info for today but there were paddies everywhere. So many we ignored the occupied ones….

At the islands did you go to the Lighthouse on South Island and the SKR towards the Rockpile?

No skunk = catching and not just fishing.
What were you fishing on the paddies? Did you chum?

    Thanks for the report

My friend is a member of the freedom boat club and is not allowed to go south of south Island. In the past we were able to but not as of 2 years ago, members risk getting kicked out of the club if they go farther south of the island. We hit pukey point, trolled around north island, hit the north and south side of South Island, the light house. Chovies on the paddies with some chumming got us the YT.
We’re planning on going out again in 2 weeks.

YT bit the 40,30, 20 fluoro. You don’t need fluoro for the yellows, we were set up this way in case we came across some BFT(the finicky *******s).
