Very nice man, fly fishing is the true sport. I was there today, caught my first ever bean on Berkeley sandworm. Twas much smaller than all of yours haha

I was on the water at about 5.30am.
Caught a small bean, a few mullett! and a stingray.
Then as the tide started to come in I began seeing the corbina feeding in the shallows.
Sight fishing drives me crazy so I moved a bit up the beach into deeper water.
I caught these 3 fish in 4 casts! By that stage I had to leave or else there may have been more.

Many have asked about the fly I was using.
I wrote a small article about it here

    Great work - I don’t believe
I’ve seen you out there, but given the times of your catches I’m already in the office.

I typically am religiously on the shore by 5:30, but off at 7-ish, so the tides need to be in my favor - LoL

    Great catches !!

Thanks Chris. With so many other interests I actually had not fished at all for about a year. This outing was the third time in 3 weeks. The previous 2 being equally as successful catching many species but not so many corbina. For whatever reason the fishing gods are being kind to me! Make sure to tap me on the shoulder next time you see me out there.
