I hit Fisheromen's lake today on float tube friday( and kayaks)! I got there around 5:30, plenty early enough, but Fisheromen was already there and roping in some fish! I missed most of the fluke bite, so I brought out the dropshot and a splitshot rig. Fish seemed more finicky today, picking up maybe a fish an hour. I did get a nice 5.2 lb fish off a reliable spot for me! I finished up the day losing 2 nice fish on Mr. Vinnybass's super secret rockpile, which I discovered has a nasty underwater tree which eats fish and creature baits! I got to see both fish when they jumped, losing one on a jump and the other to the fish eating tree! It would of been nice to add a couple plump ones to my total! I finished the day with 9 fish, kind of slim for 7 hours of nonstop casting! 20220610_063424.jpg 20220610_085937.jpg 20220610_095258.jpg

Looks like I missed out on some healthy bass action. My 11 bass I caught at Murray this morning could all fit inside that last healthy bass... ha ha Nice job out there under a blazing sun. Glad that (“my”)rock pile gave you some thrills....sorry I forgot to mention that fish eating tree down there....I have lost a lot of rigs on it too. Thanks for sharing and tight lines always.

Those are some nice ones mcfish . I'd be very happy with 9 bass in the boat. I'll be there tomorrow, Sunday and hope to catch a few. Thanks for the report and pics!

DSCF0453.JPG DSCF0454.JPG DSCF0457.JPG Might as well piggy-back here. Was afeared of a repeated Skunk, but first cast took care of that! Whew! Now I can just relax and fish! I caught 4 more and got off the water about 10:00. Forgot to put on Sunscreen and did not want to fry! Got my first Whopper Plopper fish of the year today. One other TW as my fluke floated. Biggest 4.1 lbs.

If the lake drops as much as "they" say, I'm going tackle hunting! I found a nice Squarebill yesterday! Paid my admission!
