Little bastiges. Come home wife says there are ants everywhere. Can I at least go take a leak before you give me junk to do!

Anyway she has vacuumed up all the trails so I can't find their entry point or their target. Little fascists normally come in the summer after water but the rain has chased them in also.

Cannot get her to understand to eliminate them you need to kill the queen. Poison bait is the only ant cure everything else is band aids.

Tero gel baits...the best jerry the best.

Or buy boric acid and mix with sugar water or jelly and put in a drink lid.

Of you use boric acid, use it at half a percent, you will kill em off immensely. More boric acid will not yield as good of a kill. Kills of up to 95% are achievable

Less.. measure the dry weight of sugar and boric acid. It really is a surprisingly small amount..

find the places they come in, and spray raid like a madman around that area.

I have a hand and powered duster. A little Drione and that entry point is done. That is what made me so mad is she wiped all evidence.

I used the boric acid but pancake syrup for sweet and peanut butter for protein . Both worked well with different ants but not both one liked sweet the other protein . Agreed on the don't mix it to strong , they need to pack it back to the nest and in 2 -3 days no more nest at least in my limited experience .

We used to have a problem but we have a pest service now.
They also do the spiders, I haven't seen black widows for quite awhile now.
Windex will kill the ones inside after you find where they are coming in at. That won't be harmful to pets or children.
Wipe down the area with vinegar, that will wipe out their trail scent.

As I recall i got it of the internet but I used 1/2 tsp in 1 cup syrup and the same for the peanut butter . The boric acid is marked 100 % and came as a roach killer . I have enough left to kill ants till kingdom come . A small blob of the bait will last till it dries up . I just took a piece of foil and put a bit of each in the track of ants . Was kind or weird having an inch wide stream of ants come out of the wall for a couple of days until it took effect then no more ants . Where I thought animals might get it I put a little in coke cans on there side . Good luck . WR ADD . Forgot to say heated both in the microwave to get the acid crystals to dissolve

Old timers get boric acid at vitamin stores for either ear or eye flushing.
    Can’t remember the exact use.
