Per Mayors public news conference today he issued orders that all beaches parks and bays trails and boat launch ramps are off limits now. The Police chief said that police officers and life guards will warn folks first then issue citations. I'm putting my kayak a way for awhile. Due to folks crowding and not keeping social distance caused this order. Watch local news for further details. Sorry for the bad news. Stay well. Robo $1000.00 and 6 months in jail or both.

So people were hiking closer that 6' from each other? What? Were they all holding hands? Giving each other flat tires! Have these people ever hiked?

Yes exactly this! I fished the river this past weekend and all the trails were packed! You would of thought it was the 4the of july weekend... every other person was coming up to me so close asking me how I did and where I launched that if I farted they would of been able to tell what I had for dinner last night.

They should refund fishing licenses purchased this year... Not a chance in hell they will, but they should.

I thought I read you can still use the public spaces but if they catch you not obeying the 6ft rule or have gatherings they will cite you.

Sounds win win to me. They make money, all the retards out there pay for their ignorance, and us mentally functioning individuals fish in peace.

"Lifeguard Division Chief James Gartland said people can still walk, run or ride a bike, as long as they abide by social distancing rules, which advise people to stay 6 feet away from others."
Take this as you will, they are still closing the parking lots so getting to your spot might be an issue.

Up until today you could enjoy your boat fish or use your jet ski but no more. It was the folks gathering in groups at the beaches parks and trails that ruined it for all.

It's not because "folks crowding and not keeping social distance" despite what the media tells you. There is no way that being outside getting fresh air and sunshine is hazardous to your health. That is laughable.

No, it was ridiculous politicians that ruined it. Those "groups" were probably families and friends that were already hanging out in homes. Now all they can do is group together inside. People will group up with friends and family. They will not get closer that mandated to strangers! Except at Costco, of course!

It wasn't the news media it was the mayor and the police chief. But here is a update you I called the Harbor Police and they said that Mission bay is totally closed but for now San Diego bay will remain open for use with all launch ramps open.
