Lucky enough to get float tube ticket for me and a buddy on May 9th... First time out to Barrett...

I picked up some barbless crankbaits (bluegill), jerk baits (shad), top water (frogs and popper), and some hooks for plastics from ouchlesslures.com...

Any and all feedback appreciated for lures and plastics that have worked in the past given I am a Barrett virgin...

Thanks in advance for your feedback!!!

Best Advice is fish with confidence and let the lake tell you what to do. Alot of times we go in with this big plan and sometimes it never shapes up. Don't worry you will change your poles about 15 times before you even go. It's called Barrett fever. Haha

I could not agree more with this. And it’s funny how fishing a wednesday will have one pattern, then the following saturday will be the complete opposite. I have a feeling the unstable weather in early May will play a factor into this as well...

Opening week will be free for all. Put on some type of reaction bait and joy the morning.
