Bfs river bass

    After months of waiting i finally got my bfs setup. Loaded up some fresh 4# and hit the river for an hour or two. Flylined roboworms and 1/10 ned rigs did the trick. Farmed a couple blowups dragging the worm over the duckweed but ended up sticking a few. Nothing big, except for the one that got away.

    Sound fun, you should try 1/20oz head with TRD. That rod will cast 1/20oz better. Also with 1/20oz head will be easier to drag either on top of weed or rocks.

    Looks like a blast. Move up to 10-12 lb line though.

    That reel is a shallow spool. 10-12lb mono wouldn’t get more than 30yds. But I agree, I would at least use 8-10lb braid line if you plan to use for bass.

    Switched up to braid, liking it a lot more.

    Yea i agree, the 1/10th was a little too heavy.

    Thanks, it was about 45$ online and im blown away by how solid it is. China has stepped up their game in the fishing market!
