Late post before I sign out for a few weeks...

My son came down from LA for work and we hit the bay after he got off work. Fished for a few hours as we both had early starts the next day. Tide was slack to incoming. It was colder than a... Picked up a few smelt on the Sabiki rig and used it for bait with zero hits. Switched to drop shot and c-rig shrimp and picked up a few spotties. Highlight of the night was watching the Star of India cruise further down the bay assisted by tugs to a dry dock for maintenance. Always good to get out with the kids. A captive audience for the dad jokes.

    I went to a seafood disco once… I pulled a mussel. :emoji_joy:

It was cool seeing you in the live chat too, Coach! Too bad I’ll miss Roman’s shindig. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

She came in to dry dock where I work. She was out in the Pride of San Diego dry dock. She had her hull painted up to the boot top and a new red stripe. Shes actually an old iron hull, it was pretty cool having the oldest operating Ship of her kind in the yard.
