Usually i Bass fish but i was looking to reel in a hog. I decided to start fishing SD River for Carp and Bass. Been fun. This was taken in August. Been recently and it started to slow down. Anyone know what these carp do as season progresses? Lots of dead Bass after last rain i wonder if the polution killed them?? Carp where did you go??

If we don't get enough rain, the nutrient runoff causes a bloom in the water, raising levels of co2 and other toxins. Bass are the weakest per lb so die off first

i saw those carp this past weekend, man there was some fat one sitting down there waiting for someone to come feed the ducks. the upstream part of the river to texas street is so shallow any bass that ends up trapped in there dies. i didn't see any dead downstream

Ducks drive me nuts. Tossing your bait to a likely carp spot and the bastages come after it.

If carp are feeding shallow the ducks can dive down and get it.
